Flight reservations are confirmed when TAS receives a deposit equal to 50% of the base rate of each person in a party. At that time, the customer is guaranteed flight dates. Deposits are not transferrable to a different year. Deposits may be transferred to a different person for a $250 administrative fee. TAS will refund deposits for the following reasons only:
- 1. TAS is not able to depart with the customer by 8 a.m. on the third day following the scheduled flight date. An example would be aircraft or pilot not available due to maintenance or other issues. The customer must be at the pre-arranged pick-up location the night before the flight date and ready to fly for this policy to apply.
- 2. TAS is not able to depart with the customer by 8 a.m. on the third day following the scheduled flight date due to weather. The customer must be at the pre-arranged pick-up location the night before the flight date and ready to fly for this policy to apply.
- 3. If one person in the party dies prior to the flight date, we will refund that person’s or the entire party's deposit.
- 4. If the State of Alaska Department of Fish and Game closes a hunting season relevant to the trip.
- 5. If a military member is deployed outside of the State of Alaska, we will refund that person’s or the entire parties deposit after receiving proof of the assignment.
